Powerpoint Games: Templates,
Instructions, and Examples
1. Create your topics and questions.
2. View an example for the type of game you'd like to create. If the game you
choose contains more questions than
you need, you can do one of two things - either create another
category (such as "mixed" or "miscellaneous")
with general or random questions, or you can try to delete a
category and questions from your template.
3. Read the directions for creating the PowerPoint and how to play the game.
Some of the games did not come with
directions; in that case, read directions for another game to get a
"feel" for how you should edit your game.
4. Click the template link, save it to your H drive, then open again and begin editing the
PowerPoint
to create your
game. The Hollywood Squares game has no template; just
open that game and change the questions and
answers.
5. If you have time, change the look of your game (colors, graphics, pictures,
sound, etc.)
6. Let Mrs. McD know when you're finished, and show her the game. If your game
is created correctly, she will save
it to a folder on the X drive for your teacher and your class to
use.
