Sharks are very impressive animals. There are a lot of very interesting facts on them. Especially the great white. I have been doing research on them for a while and I know about everything about them. In this report I am going to tell you all about their PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS!!!
    A GREAT WHITE SHARK can weigh more than 2.4 tons. They can also get bigger than 21 feet. One of the ways they catch their prey is by smelling their blood. They can smell blood 35 miles away. The GREAT WHITE is known to be the biggest carnivore shark in the world. They also can't sleep because if they stop moving they will stop breathing and die. They don't have bones but they do have cartilage. One of their teeth is 24.8 square cm. in area. Their teeth are triangular in shape and serrated like a knife. They attack their prey in surprise at the speed of 17 to 25 km/h.

    When sharks eat their food, they raise their snout. Then they drop their lower jaw. Then their upper jaw comes out. Then the lower jaw moves up and forward then bites. Then their head goes back to it's normal position.
