Tim Moore

Tim Moore has served as Associate Principal at Bloomington High School since 2003. Moore joined the administrative staff at BHS in 2000 when he was appointed
Assistant Principal. Moore was initially hired at BHS in 1997 as a business teacher.

Before joining District 87 Schools, Moore was a business teacher at Champaign Central High School.

At Bloomington High School, Moore's main duties as Associate Principal include assisting the Principal with all activities and duties that relate to teachers, students, educational programs, supplies, and equipment. A majority of his time is spent on curriculum and staff development and establishing clear lines of communication regarding school goals, accomplishments, practices and policies with parents and teachers. Moore is responsible for carrying out accounting procedures for accounts associated with the high school. He occasionally serves as acting Principal when necessary.

Moore is a member of the 100 Black Men of Central Illinois, the McLean County Urban League and Professionals Assisting Latino Students (PALS). Moore serves as the current Chair of the B/N Educational Alliance's Diversity Committee.

Moore earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education at Eastern Illinois University
and a Master's Degree in Education from Illinois State.
