Bush on Mars

A recent scientific report has many scientist convinced that Mars is completely made out of clay. One scientist, professor at U. of Miss., is urging the state government to add art to high school curriculum. Professor James says it will put Mississippi students at an advantage for when the USA starts colonizing the planet. President Bush made a speech last week to Mississippi school children explaining the importance of craftsmanship when sculpting Mars. Democrats disagree with the president on his position to sculpt Mars. “We have plenty of clay here on Earth”, stated a congressman from Oregon. However, Democratic candidate Kerry is in favor of sculpting Mars. His home state is the main producer of flux, which is an important ingredient of glaze. All of the clay would boost sales and would really help the economy. Bush’s first project on Mars is a sculpture of a porous cartoon character, Spongebob Squarepants. Bush claims that even though the clay on Mars is soluble, it would not require a wax coating for waterproofing because there is no water on Mars. NASA is working on sending a kiln to the planet in order to fire the project. Congress is now debating the motif of the project and how it would look with the pattern of the planetary surface. The White House artist is now preparing a marquette of proportional scale of the project. The artist is deciding whether to make Spongebob shiny or matte, consulting scientist on which would be more visible from Mars. He is spending lots of time carving the holes and trying to make Spongebob’s face symmetrical. They wont need to dry-foot the sculpture because glaze will not be used on the marguette. Instead, they will be using tempera after he subtracts the materials to make the holes. The White House jeweler is preparing diamonds for the eyes as an additive to the Mars project. Assemblage of the eyes will be performed by specially trained astronauts. President Bush is excited about filling up the space on Mars for the good of America. He acknowledges that the fettling process on Mars will take a long time, but he calls for all Americans to stand behind him and unite.
