Creating Vector Art
Convert bitmapped images to vector art
Objective:
The students will learn to create find and convert artwork to a vector file.

Assignment:
| Search the internet, newspapers, magazines or other publications for football artwork. Find four different images. |

| Print of photo copy the artwork. Make the artwork as large as possible on the paper. |

| Place a sheet of paper over the top of the artwork. Use a French curve and a ruler to trace, clean up and refine the image. Do NOT free hand the image. Make sure all the lines are clean and smooth. a light table can be used to see the image through the paper better. |

| Scan the artwork using Adobe Photoshop. Save the file as as PSD document. Use Adobe Streamline to convert the document to a vector image. Scanning | |
