- Hire game personnel as needed (crowd
control, scoreboard operators, etc) and coordinate security for
athletic contests
- Interview and make recommendations
concerning the hiring of the coaching staff
- Make recommendations concerning
changes in the athletic program (new sports, levels of competition,
number of coaches, etc)
- Supervise the athletic trainers from
ISU
- Communicate with coaching staff in
regards to rule changes, IHSA rules meetings, IHSA
Tournament assignments, etc
- Promote and improve public relations
within the community
- BHS liaison to the Booster Club
- Membership in the local Rotary Club
- Perform other duties as may be
