Part I Chapter 11:
School and Religion

Teachers may not require religious thesis in class work, except with respect to teaching about religions and religious observances. However, when options are available within the context of the assignment, students may voluntarily choose religious themes.
The content of school programs, concerts, activities, and exhibits must be primarily non-religious in nature. Religious music, art, or symbols are permitted as a part of a secular program, concert or exhibit if the purpose is not to promote or encourage observance of one faith over others, and student participation is voluntary.
