Part II Chapter 3:
Readmission of Students After Absences

Upon return to school, students should report directly to class:

• Teachers will receive a computer printout of corrections for unapproved absences
   

• Absence classifications may change from unapproved to approved normally within 48 hours.  Any such changes will be posted on the teacher’s absence verification computer printout.  Any student whose name appears on this list with an approved absence status should be granted the privilege of making up work with credit.
   

• Students leaving their designated place during the school day without securing permission will be presumed truant from school.
