Federal law requires that reasonable accommodations be made regarding the education of any student who has a disability affecting their ability to learn. Such accommodations can include such things as special testing circumstances, special seating, special cues from the teacher, additional progress monitoring.
Teachers are required to attend staffings and can help develop a program for the student.
