Part V Chapter 4:
Making Deposits

The bookkeeper is available to receive deposits before school, between 1:00-3:00 daily, and by appointment.  Deposits are to be made personally by the teacher or sponsor.  Deposits should be made to the bookkeeper the day the money is collected, or the next business day if collected after school.

A 3-part deposit slip will be available from the bookkeeper.  It is to be prepared prior to making the deposit.  The slip must indicate the number of bills of each denomination, the total amount of coins, and the total amount of checks.  The deposit is to be given directly to the bookkeeper that will verify all currency, and return one copy of the deposit slip after it has been verified.  In the case of late evening activities, money can be left in the Athletic Director’s vault until the following business morning when it should be retrieved and the deposit made.

Under no circumstances should cash be taken home overnight.
