Recognized Student Organizations

Recognized organizations are explicitly listed in the Student/Parent Handbook.  These include IHSA governed activities, performing musical groups, The Aegis, The Aepix, sponsored clubs, and non-sponsored (student-initiated) clubs.  Students who wish to form a new club should identify a sponsor and contact the Director of Student Activities.  New clubs are normally expected to draft a written proposal, be open to all students, have a statement of purpose, and a description of activities.  The written proposal will be reviewed by the Principal in accordance with District 87 policy.
