Part VII Chapter 1: |
|
Transparency Sheets: Teachers may request transparency sheets through the AV department.
Laminate: Teachers will fill out request forms and attach a form to the materials to be laminated. The completed form and the materials to be laminated are to be left in the Library and will be returned to you when the lamination is completed. There will be a charge for all personal materials that are laminated (items not to be used in the classroom).
Video Tapes: Tapes need to be used until they are full, rather than just one program to a tape. If you have any that need to be added to, please turn them in with your request. Please turn in any tapes that you are no longer using, they can be erased and used again.
Program Recording: Use the request forms found in the library. Be sure to fill out the form completely. Pay special attention to times of programs. Some are listed in different time ones. Please use Central Standard Time on the forms. Include the channel number not just the call letters. The more information on the forms, the better. These requests are done on a first-come – first-serve basis due to demands on a limited amount of equipment. At least 24 hours lead-time is required.
AV Equipment: To request AV equipment; fill out the form on the front counter in the library. Please be sure to include the exact dates and class periods that you will need the equipment. Sometimes the equipment is shared and this will help insure that your needs are met. Allow at least a 24-hour turn around.
Broken Equipment: Please notify the library as soon as possible of any equipment that is not working properly, especially burned-out bulbs. They will be repaired or replaced as soon as possible.
