The Regional
office of Education operates an Alternative Education Program.
This program is designed to meet the needs of those students
who are at-risk of academic decline.
Full-time admission to this program is dependent upon the
approval of both the BHS Administration and the Alternative
Education offices. Any student interested in enrolling in this
alternative program should contact their Assistant Principal.
Alternative
Education classes are held Monday through Thursday afternoons.
All students entering the program are expected to maintain
employment throughout their enrollment.
They are also expected to follow the Alternative Education
attendance policy, which clearly states that any student who misses
a class four or more times may be dropped from that class.
Continued truancy or disruptive behavior may result in a
student being removed from the program entirely.
