Student Fees & Charges

Registration and certain
other fees shall be paid at time of enrolling.
The registration fee covers textbook rentals, workbooks,
laboratory fees, and towel fees for physical education.
Uniforms and locks for physical education, stationery, and other
materials are the responsibility of the student.
Registration, meal, and
driver education fees will be reduced or waived for students who meet
the eligibility criteria set by the federal government for the free and
reduced meal program (Board Policy #4.140).
Free and reduced meal program applications are
available at each school office and the District office.
School meals
may be paid for on line at “My Lunch Money”
www.mylunchmoney.com.
Students who accumulate debts to the district will be referred to
collection agencies.
Students are required to take proper care of their
textbooks and property of the school and other students (e.g. locks,
materials, supplies, and equipment).
Students must pay for
textbooks or property they damage or lose.
The Principal shall
determine the replacement cost and collect the payment.
Payment shall be made within a week
of being notified of the replacement cost unless the Principal defers
payment until a later date.
Failure to make such payment will be cause for suspension.
A high school
student will receive a T/A, T/B, T/C, T/D, or T/F mark grade for a
course in which a textbook is lost or damaged and not paid for.
No credit will be granted until the textbook is found and
returned or paid for.
Students in Driver Education must pay a separate
fee by the second/ third week of classroom instruction.
For enrollment and refund purposes, this fee is composed of
$50.00 for classroom instruction and $200.00 for behind the wheel
instruction.
A permit is
required to park on the high school campus.
This permit will be sold at registration and the main high school
office. To be eligible to
purchase a parking permit, a student must be registered for the current
school year and have paid all other fees and charges.
Permits are sold on a priority basis first to seniors and
juniors. Based on
experience, few, if any, sophomores will be able to purchase permits.
Visitor spaces are available for parents to visit the school.
