Prairie States Achievement Exam

All BHS students take the Prairie State Achievement Exam (PSAE) for two days in March of their Junior year.  This exam is required by the state of Illinois and consists of the ACT test on Day 1 and the WorkKeys/state-developed tests on Day 2.  Results of this testing are recorded on each student's transcript for colleges, scholarships, and future employers.  Students earn a score of either "Academic Warning, Does Not Meet, Meets, or Exceeds."  Those students who earn an "Exceeds" in any of the five areas tested (Reading, Writing, Math, Science, and Social Science)  will receive a Prairie State Award.
