Absence

Unapproved
absences will, in general, be absences not covered in the
preceding three categories.
In general they are absences for any reason that can
normally be taken care of outside school hours.
However, for clarification the following are enumerated
as examples:

Truancy from school or class.

Leaving school without permission from the school nurse or
the Office of Student Affairs.

Shopping, baby‑sitting, getting driver's license, working,
being out of town, extending vacations without prearranging.

Leaving class without permission from the teacher.

Abusing passes to and from class.
