The Vladimir/Canterbury Sister City
Association is seeking:
host families for high school students from Vladimir, Russia who
will come to Bloomington-Normal for the academic year 2012-2013.
We hope to host TWO exchange students next year, but
this will depend on the willingness of families in our community to
volunteer as hosts.
Also, they are
seeking applications for students to go to Vladimir, Russia for
3 weeks in June, 2012. Students will live with a host family
with an English-speaking teenage sibling. There is no cost for the
exchange program except for airfare and visa costs.
The visa will cost approx. $200 and airfare will be partially subsidized
by the Vladimir Canterbury Sister City Association up to $1200.
More information is on the internet at http://www.normal.org/index.aspx?NID=404.
