ACT on Saturday:
BHS doors open at 7:30am. The test will begin promptly at 8:00am in the
cafeteria.
Bring a #2 pencil and a calculator.
Cell phones must be turned off prior to entering the cafeteria.

during lunch to find out.
Students will be able to vote for which teacher they would like to see
take the
Polar Plunge at Miller Park and will also be able to sign up to take
part in the plunge themselves.
Votes are just $1 so make sure you come to the Plunge table at the end
of this week
to show your support for your favorite teacher!
Buy a flower for a friend!
Starting on Monday, February 6th you can purchase a flower for the low cost of
$1.00.
The flowers will be delivered on
Valentine’s Day during 2nd hour.
Orders will be taken during all lunch periods.
All orders must be in by Thursday February 9th.
Mark your calendars for Saturday, February 18th!
Winter Wonderland Dance
will be held from 8:00-11:00 in the North Gym.
Cost will be $5.00 per person.
Tickets will go on sale the week of February. 13th.

The Bloomington-Normal Sister
Cities Committee is looking for
TWO high school students to
live and study in our Sister City – Asahikawa, Japan from August, 2012
to June, 2013.
If you are interested, please attend an informational meeting on
Sunday, February 19th
from 2-3:30 pm in the Normal Public Library Community Room.
The Vladimir/Canterbury Sister City
Association is seeking host families
for high school students from Vladimir, Russia who
will come to Bloomington-Normal for the academic year 2012-2013.
We hope to host TWO exchange students next year, but
this will depend on the willingness of families in our community to
volunteer as hosts.

100 Black Men of Central Illinois
will host its annual Twin-City
wide African American History Challenge.
The location, date and time will be announced at a later date.
The top finishing teams have the opportunity to win scholarship
prizes of up to $1,000 per person.
