2008 BHS RAIDER GOLF PRIDE BUTTON

 AWARD RULES & REGULATIONS

 

The BHS RAIDER PRIDE BUTTONS are a SYMBOL of VARSITY SUCCESS and of hard work for all BLOOMINGTON HIGH SCHOOL GOLFERS.  The player who earns the most Raider Pride Buttons over the course of the year will earn the Raider Pride Award to be given at the awards banquet. 

  1. Remove all Raider pride buttons from your bag.
  2. Put all Pride Buttons on Hat.
  3. Rules for Winning Raider Pride Buttons………………
    1. Grand Slam Tournaments …….Varsity….Grand Slam Tournaments include

      Pekin Classic,  Intercity, Big 12 Conference, & The Regional-Sectional State.

                                                               i.      MAXIMUM TOTAL OF 3

                                                              ii.      Raider Pride Button if you have the lowest score of the group that you are playing in.

                                                            iii.      Raider Pride Button if you are one of the top four of the team during a Grand Slam tournament and the team finishes in the top 3.

                                                            iv.      Raider Pride Button if individually you are in the top ten for the tournament.

                                                             v.      Raider Pride Button if you individually are the tournament medalist.

                                                            vi.      BONUS OF ONE Raider Pride BUTTONS for each member of the team if the team captures a trophy.  Extra Raider BONUS OF ONE Raider Pride Button if we are the Tournament Champion

    1. Regular Tournaments and Matches…….VARSITY…. Team finishes in top 3

                                                               i.      MAXIMUM TOTAL OF 2

                                                              ii.      Raider Pride Button if you have the lowest score of the group that you are playing in.

                                                            iii.      Raider Pride Button if you are one of the top four of the team during a regular tournament and the team finishes in the top 3.

                                                            iv.      Raider Pride Button if individually you are in the top ten for the tournament.

                                                             v.      Raider Pride Button  if you individually are the tournament medalist.

                                                            vi.      BONUS OF ONE Raider Pride BUTTONS for each member of the team if the team captures a trophy.  Extra Raider BONUS OF ONE Raider Pride Button if we are the Tournament Champion and or you are the overall Match Winner.

    1. Coaches Discretion.  A coach can give out a Pride Button to any player at anytime for hard work, team effort, or individual excellence. 
    2. Personal Records or PR PRIDE BUTTONS.  Any player who after LABOR DAY who accomplishes a personal record for 18 holes in a VARSITY tournament setting will win one pride button.

 

CULVER COINS.    Culver Coins can be given out at anytime in recognition of Golf Success.   Players can put up a Culver Coin during any 9 or 18 hole qualifying event.
