2006 SEASON - Brian had a fantastic season for the BHS JV in 2006.  He logged big innings and also saw time in the outfield and first base.

2007 SEASON - Brian became the most improved player in the Raider program in 2007 and had a major role in helping the Raiders clinch the 2007 BIG 12 Championship.  Cross went 4-1 with a 3.86 ERA and struck out 32 in 29 innings of work.  Had big conference wins against rival Normal West and Decatur Eisenhower and also had non-conference victories against Champaign Centennial and Danville.

2008 SEASON OUTLOOK - The Purple Raiders look to rely on no one more than the hard throwing Cross in 2008.  Blessed with a division I body, 6'3, 205 lbs., Brian looks to establish himself as one of the top big game pitchers in the XII.  Brian has really worked hard at increasing his arm strength and his off speed stuff keeps getting better.  The Raiders will also give Cross a look at the plate in 2008.  A great looking prospect who is looking to gain the attention of college coaches statewide.
