2006 SEASON - One of the most improved players in the Raider program in 2006, Chris enjoyed a fantastic season pitching in the JV rotation.  Eldert really showed steady improvement with both his arm strength and off speed pitches as he logged big innings in 2006.

2007 SEASON - Chris teamed with fellow junior Brian Cross to provide a big lift to the Raider rotation in their 2007 Championship season.  Eldert went 3-0 with a 3.60 ERA.  Had pitching victories over BIG 12 opponents Mattoon and Urbana in non-conference tilts.  Also had complete game victory over Corn Belt foe Rantoul.

2008 SEASON OUTLOOK - The Raiders are looking for Eldert to be a big part of the '08 pitching equation.  Chris has a nice fast ball and above average curve ball.  Showed he has what it takes to win in 2007.  Eldert looks to establish himself as the Raiders #3 starter.
