2006 SEASON - Mark had a great season at both the Freshmen and JV level in 2006.  Played big innings at both third base and logged major innings on the hill.

2007 SEASON - Mark came on to the varsity scene with a flurry in 2007.  Hit .350 as a sophomore and also went 2-1 on the mound.  Hit first career varsity home-run against rival Normal Community.  Played a huge role in the Raiders 2007 BIG 12 Championship run.

2007 SUMMER - Mark had a fantastic summer playing for the Bloomington GOLD 16U.  The GOLD participates in the National Amateur Baseball Federation.  McGee helped lead the Gold to a 43-11 record pacing the team in several pitching categories.  Mark went 10-0 on the mound with a 3.63 ERA and 1 save.  His 10 wins led the team, as did his 54 innings pitched and 4 complete games.  Mark also hit .323 driving in 21 runs and played very solid defensively at third base.  Participated in the Lakeside Cardinals showcase hosted by Illinois State University and Illinois Wesleyan University.  Invited to attend the White Sox Academy showcase following a very successful sophomore summer.

2008 SEASON OUTLOOK - The Raiders are looking for McGee to become one of the top players in the BIG 12 in '08 both on the bump and at the plate.  McGee and senior Brian Cross will team to form a very solid 1-2 punch for the BHS' rotation.  McGee will also look to play third base and catcher when not on the hill.  Blessed with great size and an above average arm, Mark is very big ingredient in the potential success of the 08' Raiders.  With the proper attitude and work ethic, the sky is the limit for McGee.  Mark is the younger brother of Derek McGee, a graduate of the Raiders baseball program.
