CURRENT BASEBALL RAIDER NEWS
Sunday, May 15th, the Raider program will be working at Jacob's Well Community Garden as part of our community service for 2011. We will be working from 2-5:00. The garden is located at 304 N Jersey in Normal next to Underwood Park.
Raiders vs. Decatur Eisenhower at the Corn Crib - Friday May 13th - 3:30
Tickets are $8 ($3 from every ticket will benefit BHS athletics). Ticket gets you into the BHS game and also the CornBelters exhibition game versus the Joliet Slammers at 7:00. Tickets may be purchased in BHS athletic office until Friday, April 29th. Checks to BHS.
2011 CONCESSIONS - A big thank you to Rob and Priscilla Frantz for doing the initial shopping for our 2011 concessions and also coordinating the potluck versus St. Rita (varsity). We are still in desperate need of a family at each level to head their teams concessions. We would like to make our initial purchase and then have three coordinators get together to work out how we will store and hand off concession items. If you are interested in serving in this role, please contact Coach Clapp, asap. If we do not get volunteers, we may only run concessions for teams with coordinators. We are still in need of a coordinator for each level.
We are accepting $20 donations to get our concessions up and running. We are also in need of one family at each level (Varsity, JV, Freshmen) to head concessions. If you are interested in serving in this role, please email Coach Clapp asap. We are hoping to have these roles covered early this week so we can start making purchases for 2011 concessions. Varsity opens this Thursday, March 17th at home versus Chicago St. Rita.
