Thank you for your participation in the 2010 Bloomington Invitational.  Due to the construction of a new concession stand and bleachers at the Bloomington Track, the meet will be held at Normal Community High School at 3900 E Raab Rd, Normal, IL 61761.  We apologize in advance for any inconvenience that this may cause but the construction will allow us to have an improved facility to host the meet in 2011.

Entry Process

All teams are required to use the online entry process via Raceberry Jam (http://raceberryjam.com/hsonlineentryill.php3).  Each team will be setup with a unique password and user ID. 

 Coaches must register their teams well prior to the deadline as it can take up to 24 hours to receive their password. The delay is due to firewalls on many email servers as most receive them in a couple hours.

We will follow the IHSA sectional rules on entries, emergency substitutions, and scratches.

Please enter your entire roster on the website.  This permits for easier changes later.  All entries must be completed by, Wednesday, April 14 as the website will not allow any entries after 9:00 pm.

Immediately after registering online, teams are asked to print a receipt from the website, which will produce a list of all athletes registered for the meet.  This will serve as your proof of whom you registered for the meet. 

Entry Fee:       $110.00

Check-In Requirements

A packet will be provided for each team consisting of team roster and events entered.  A team representative will be responsible for picking up the packets.  Packets can be picked up in the press box at the track. 

 

Scratches

There will be a scratch meeting at 3:45PM.  All head coaches are requested to be present.  In an attempt to make the meet flow efficiently, we ask that you identify your scratches as soon as you arrive.  You will not be allowed to add athletes, only scratches at this time.  No changes are allowed after the scratch meeting.

 

Awards

In individual events and relay events, awards will be presented for participants who finish 1st-8th place.  There will also be trophies for the top three teams based on points scored.

 

Facility

The track at Normal Community High School has an all-weather surface and 8-lanes. Only ¼” or smaller pyramid spikes are allowed.  No radios, glass containers, or alcoholic beverages are allowed in the facility.  Smoking is not permitted in the stadium.

Refreshments

A Full Service Concession Stand will be provided. 

Equipment

Starting blocks will be provided.  Throwers must use their own implements. .

 

Admission

A charge of $3.00/Adults and $2.00/Students will be assessed for everyone not competing in the meet.

* We will measure the first legal jump/throw and only those surpassing standard thereafter.  Goal is to move meet along NOT discourage athlete.

*Only Jumps of 14’0”(LJ) and 30’0” (TJ) and beyond will be measured

*Only Throws of 30’0”(SP) and 85’0” (DI) and beyond will be measured
