TEAM RULES

1.   You will set the best possible example at all times in your attitude, behavior, language, and actions. This means in school, in the classroom, on the track/field, on the bus, at another school. ATTITUDE=ACTIONS

2.   You will be positive at all times, helping your teammate's always. POSITIVE=WINNING

3.  For the indoor season we will meet in front of the concession stand before practice for team meeting and attendance. If something will keep you from practice or being on time, it is your responsibility to contact a coach ahead of time. Practice starts at 3:00        

An unexcused absence from practice or meet will have the consequence of not competing in the next meet. You will be required to attend that meet, but will spend your time working as a manager. Three unexcused absence will result in being removed from the team. Two tardies will equal one unexcused absence. WINNERS COME EARLY AND STAY LATE!!!

 4.  You are a student-athlete first You have plenty of time to see a teacher, make up work, and see the trainer and get to practice on time. PREPARATION+PRACTICE=PERFORMANCE

5.  You will follow all team rules. MATURITY=RESPONSIBILITY

6. This is a team effort. No one is to leave a meet until the last event is over. Along with picking up all equipment after every home meet.

7.  You will come to practice and games focused on your responsibilities and ready to compete. FOCUS=POWER

8.  You will put the team's goals and needs first. TOGETHER EVERYONE ACHIEVES MORE

9. You will give 100% effort at all times. NEVER GIVE UP=MAXIMUM EFFORT

10. You are to ride the bus to and from the meets. If you are going to ride home with your parent, your parent must sign you out with a head coach. If you were to ride home with another person other than your parents a note must be signed by the principal, and that person must check and sign you out with a head coach

 

MOST IMPORTANT: LISTEN, WORK HARD, BE COACHABLE, AND YOU WILL HAVE FUN AND IMPROVE!!!!!
