Hello to everyone. Everything here is just lovely. The weather has been the best they have had all summer. We got a wee bit wet the first day in Edinburgh when we visited Holyrood castle, but that has been the worst of it.

We have done our tech rehearsal and are now going to do the first performance this morning. From talking to the other directors, we had the smoothest tech so far.  We were able to meet our times and get things done. We were 20n seconds over time---because Patrick Leahy left his bag on the stage and had to run back for it. They are very serious about getting in and out in the time allotted.   On Saturday, the kids will go out and "trundle" about selling our show on the Royal Mile. They seem to be very excited about that. It is a common practice so it should be fun.

Grace Colloton is winning the award for most informed.   She certainly came ready to learn.  You should have seen her acting out history in the castles!

Rick is busy documenting the process for review!

The students are taking in all the sites. I know that many of their dollars will be left here. Annie Prault seems to be in the lead with shopping and spending! Garrett Young is winning in the forgetful category. He left his luggage unattended in the airport twice. After the full search on the second time, he wised up I think! Several of the kids saw a movie being made in London--they blew up a phone booth--I was impressed with how it was done.

For the most part, everyone is doing what they should and getting around easily. The kids love the city and are up fairly early to take in the sites.

I will try to write more when I get a chance to get on the computer--there is one for the whole of the campus for us to use!

Susan
