We experienced real Scottish weather today as the kids got totally soaked in the Highlands. They came home soaked from "loping in the heather." I am sure someone or two or forty will try to smuggle some home in their luggage.

Dexter C. has really opened up. He was the bus comedian today on our trip. Amy has gone from scared and homesick to "feels just like being at home." Amanda P. is feeling much better now that she is on antibiotics. Joel cracked his head on an open window, but he is just fine. His head is healing. We got another box lunch and several of us had more pickle and cheese sandwiches. I have to say that if it were dill or sweet gherkins, I would eat it, but these aren't appetizing at all. I too ditched my lunch and found something good to eat in the town. They just don't have fish and chips in the states like they do here!
