American Chemical Society Exam:
Approximately 412 high school chemistry students from 23 high
schools within fifty miles of Peoria competed in the 28th Annual
High School Chemistry Contests, sponsored by the Illinois Heartland
Section of the American Chemical Society. Bloomington High School
finished first, second, third, and fourth in the advanced division.
