Gale ~ Gold: Student Resource Center and Gale's Global Issues        Log-in:       raiders

Student Resource Center contains in-depth information from reference sources on social issues, cultures, science, geography, literature, world history and U.S. History.  Also, articles from magazines and newspapers are up-to-the-minute as well as going back to before our students were born.  Some articles date back to the 1980's.

Global Issues was new to BHS in November 2009.  Its focus is broadly on the world (less so on the United States). Issues that are covered include: business and economy; health and medicine; conflict and diplomacy and finally, science and technology.

Country Reports has two pieces to it.  Countries of the world, their customs and cultures; topography;  history, religion; government; national symbols;eating and recipes; and more. Each of the United States is covered in-depth.  Both of these are available in English, French and Spanish.
