RULES

General Rules:

Sign in upon entering the library and show school I.D. to librarian or assistant, upon request.
No more than two person to a table. The librarian reserves the right to assign seating.
The library is a QUIET area designed for reading, writing, inquiry and study.
Upon arrival to the library, students are not allowed to leave until the bell rings.  Students are expected to remain seated until the bell rings.
Gum is allowed. If you are accompanied by a teacher, the teacher's classroom rules apply to gum. Blowing bubbles with gum and snapping/cracking of gum is not allowed. Please wrap gum in paper before discarding.
All school rules apply while in the library.
Be considerate of others.
Handle school property, material, and equipment with care.
Good manners are expected.
Students without any apparent reason for being in the library may be recruited to help the librarian, or may be returned to study hall.
Volunteers are welcome.

Disruptive behavior (as determined by the librarian) may result in loss of library privileges, removal from the library, and/or a referral.

Computer Usage Rules:

Student I. D. with Internet permission must be on display.
Students from classes accompanied by a teacher will get preference using computers.
No chat, no e-mail, no inappropriate sites.

Students are allowed to print five pages per day at no cost. There will be a charge of five cents per page for each additional page.

Infractions will result in loss of use of the library computers as posted in library.

NOTE:  All computer usage is monitored.
