Geometry

Prerequisites: Algebra 1 and Department Permission

This geometry course includes plane, spatial, transformational, and coordinate geometry's. It emphasizes logical thinking and applies algebraic concepts to geometric figures. Topics covered include angles, lines, planes, triangles (congruent, similar, and right), circles, areas, solids, volume, constructions, transformations, and geometry on the Cartesian plane. Geometric constructions are explored and algebra skills are maintained throughout the year.

Technology: Scientific calculators are required for this course.
