Pre-Calculus

This pre-calculus course focuses on functions (trigonometric and others) and analytic geometry. Matirces and determinants are also studied. A variety of finite mathematics topics are explored including probability, statistics, and Markov chains. This course is designed to prepare students for courses in either discrete mathematics or calculus.

Technology: Graphing calculators are recommended for this course, but each student should have at least a scientific calculator.
