Coach Clapp enters his eighth season as Head Coach of
the Purple Raiders. He has bachelor degrees from Illinois State University
('99) in Physical Education and Lincoln Christian University ('95) in
Christian Education and a Masters Degree in Educational Administration from
the American College of Education (2010). He was a four year letter winner
in basketball and baseball. Guided the Raiders to their fifth consecutive
20 win season in 2010. Led BHS to the '07 Big 12 title. Runner up finishes
in '05, 06, and '08. Coach Clapp also coaches the Bloomington GOLD summer
traveling team. Guided the Bloomington GOLD 18U team to a 3rd place finish
in the 2008 NABF World Series in Jackson, Mississippi. Coach Clapp has
coached over 60 players going on to the collegiate level and had 6 players
