The main
characters are Tyrone Bittings, Lupe Algarin, Porcha Johnson. The
setting is mainly at school. The conflict is that they are all battling
with themselves and their futures. The interesting fact is that there
are 8 students who tell or talk about their situation through their
poetry that they wrote in English class. They read their poems at Open
Mike. Their inspirations are from a book called 'Renaissance Man of
Harlem"! The people that would enjoy this book is people who like poetry
and kids who like reality (more like teens.) I would reread this book
over and over because that’s how good this book is!
