The main character of the story is Milo. The setting is a magical world.

This book is about a boy who never does anything because he thinks everything is pointless. One day he gets a gift in the mail and it is a tollbooth. When he goes through the tollbooth he gets taken to a magical world were he learns the reason for things and is able to enjoy life. If you like adventures then you will like this book. I recommend you read this book.
