Below are links to BJHS Research databases. Using these databases will give you faster, more accurate results than by just using Google or another search engine. Each database requires a username and password. Click on the database link. It will open in a new window. Copy and paste the username and password to log in. You may also access these databases from home or any other location outside of school.

This database will give you lots of results, but it is best to sort the results by content level, which will put the articles that are easier to read at the top. The articles are sorted by groups - Reference (encyclopedias), Magazines, Academic Journals (written at the college level - can be difficult to read), and News (newspapers). The Multimedia tab has audio broadcasts and podcasts about tornadoes. Click on the tab to view the list for each type of article.		 Type volcanoes in the basic search box at the top. Then click the down arrow next to the Sort by box and choose content level:

Click on each tab at the top to view Reference articles, Magazine articles, and News (newspaper articles) about volcanoes.
