Assistant Coach BJHS Wrestling

Coaching:
Coach Trisler is a former Bloomington wrestler in his 6th year as a coach at BJHS.  Both he and his wife Marla play key roles in the BJHS wrestling program.  Coach Trisler has coached 5 heavy weights to the state tournament and 2 of them to runner-up finishes in the IESA.  He has a passion for working with kids and believes that wrestling helps with self-confidence, discipline, and teamwork.  Coach Trisler has also had two sons; one that wrestled at BJHS and is graduating this year.  His other son is in his 2nd year of wrestling as a 7th grader.  His dedication brings huge success and play a vital role as the Knights begin the 2008 season.

High School
He is a former 2 year wrestler at Bloomington High School and also wrestled 2 years at Austin High School in Austin, Texas.

Coach Trisler lives in Bloomington Illinois with his wife Marla and his two sons.
