Head Coach BJHS Wrestling
Coaching:
Coach March
is has been involved in wrestling for over 27 years. Coach March
began wrestling when he was three years old.
His father was a wrestling coach, so Coach March grew up on the
wrestling mat. He began
competing at the age of five in the Mattoon Wrestling Club. Coach March wrestled for 18 years and has coached for eight
years. He gave up coaching
while working on his Master’s Degree in Administrative Leadership.
After a six year hiatus, he is back coaching wrestling at BJHS.
Coach March loves working with kids in the classroom and in the
wrestling room.
High School
Coach March
graduated from McHenry East Campus located in McHenry, Illinois.
He was a four year varsity wrestler for the Warriors.
College
Coach March attended William Rainey Harper College for two years where he
was a national qualifier. He
later transferred to Eastern Illinois University where he attained his
Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education.

Coach March
lives just outside the Bloomington area and has two wonderful boys.
