Bent, ESC featured in Photo Exhibit
Photographer Ken Kashian, a former District 87 parent, will present Details of Architecture in Downtown Bloomington and its Surrounding Areas at the McLean County Museum of History from Sept. 4 through January 15. The exhibit includes over 40 large scale photographs that dramatically capture often unnoticed interior and exterior details of many of Downtown Bloomington’s older buildings. Included in the exhibit are exterior photos of both the ESC (former Jefferson School), and the former BHS/BJHS building. Also featured will be the 80-year old nursery rhyme plaster casts located in Bent School’s Learning Center (the original Kindergarten room).
