Principal's Corner
Dear Parents and Community Members,
Welcome back to a new school year at Irving! We are so happy to have your children with us. Your students may come home talking about our new PBIS program. This Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports system has worked well in other schools and we are excited to have it in place at Irving. There are three simple components that we teach the children:
Be Responsible
Be Respectful
Be Safe
We feel that these three characteristics are vital to promoting a successful learning environment for all of our children. By exhibiting these behaviors your child will have the opportunity to earn Mustang Money and enter a raffle each week for prizes. We ask that you reinforce these ideas at home so that children know that being responsible, respectful and safe is expected of them at all times.
