Our goal is to create an ongoing awareness and celebration
of diversity in our school, our community, and in our world.

Objectives 2004-2005:  

1.               To seek diversity in our multicultural activities and spread opportunities over the entire school year.

2.               To provide information to staff about upcoming cultural dates and to provide suggestions for classroom activities.

3.               To conduct an annual building-wide writing prompt with diversity as the basic theme.

4.               To act on opportunities to integrate local culture into curricular activities.

5.               To provide family activities that include multicultural experiences.

6.               To collaborate with State Farm Affinity Groups to offer an annual Family Multicultural Fair.

7.               To include diversity connections on School Improvement Days

8.               To encourage the use of bulletin boards and web pages to display artifacts of multicultural activities.
