Student Council
Irving School's Student Council is lead by
Mr.
Taylor.
Terrific Tuesdays
Terrific Tuesdays is a mentoring/befriending program linking Irving
School with some nearby churches.
Character Counts
Irving school emphasizes
character education. Students and teachers learn a "character word of the
week"
which is discussed during our daily school morning assembly. Visitors such
as the ISU basketball team meet
with students to share the importance of respect for others.
Irving
School Spirit Night at McDonalds
Irving teachers serve food
at McDonald's, our Partner in Education, to raise funds for school
programs.
McDonald's donates twenty percent of the total sales during each spirit
night. Spirit nights are only one
feature of being a partner in education. The school also receives Ronald
McDonald shows, donations, and
students in turn decorate our partner store on East Empire.
