Help Oakland Elementary School's library soar to great heights!
Plan a memorable day you and your child can look forward to by joining Oakland Elementary School’s Book Club.  Sign up now and on your child’s “special day,” s/he will be able to visit the Learning Center to check out a new, never-before read book.  As part of the celebration, your child will choose a book from a selection of the most popular titles, authors, and subjects appropriate for his/her reading level.  A “special day” could signify a birthday, a significant achievement, or bring honor to a beloved family member or teacher!

This is a terrific way to encourage your child to read and expand the selection of library books at Oakland Elementary School.  All of the books will be durable for extended library use.  To remember your child’s special day and donation to the library, a customized bookplate will be added inside the book’s front cover.  A special bookmark will be given to your child as a keepsake, too.

We welcome everyone to join!  Just complete this brief form, attach a check for $20.00 made payable to Oakland School, and return it to the school office in a sealed envelope.  (Please indicate “Book Club” on the note of your check.)  If you have questions, please contact Oakland School's media specialist, Mrs. Oberts, at 662-4302 or via email.  Thank you for helping Oakland’s library—and its students—soar to great heights!
