Gordon Lillie, a.k.a. Pawnee Bill, attended Irving School and graduated from Bloomington High School in 1879. After graduation, Lillie moved to the Indian Territory where he would later work for Buffalo Bill. He eventually left Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show to run his own show, known worldwide as "Pawnee Bill's Wild West Show." The show operated from 1888 to 1913 and gained success throughout Europe and the U.S. Pawnee Bill's former ranch is now known as the "Pawnee Bill Ranch site" and is operated as a museum by the State of Oklahoma.
