Bloomington's 7th high school was built on the corner of Washington and McLean Streets. It was designed by local architect, Athur Pillsbury. This building served as the Bloomington High School from 1917 to 1959, when the current Bloomington High School on Locust Street was constructed. The 1917 BHS then served as Bloomington Junior High School until 1989.
