Shortly after noon on April 26, 1946 a few spirited Bloomington High School students announced their intent to strike for "shorter hours" by handing out flyers to their fellow students. The strike occurred, but the flyers only inticed 25 or so students. All but two of them returned to classes that afternoon. This flyer was one of many confiscated by BHS Principal, P.C. Kurtz.
