The original Sheridan School (School 6)  built near the present site at a cost of $28,000.

Sheridan School's "Poetry Place" is officially opened on October 11.

Official name changed to Sheridan School. School named after Civil War General, Phillip Sheridan.

All Day Kindergarten is offered at Irving and Sheridan Schools.
