I am originally from Bloomington, Illinois
My teaching career started in Wisconsin in 1974. I was very
glad to get hired by District 87 in 1978.
I have been teaching at Sheridan School since 1993.
My first 15 years of teaching I taught in special education. I have taught in kindergarten since 1990.
I love teaching kindergarten.
I love taking the
children from just having a beginning knowledge of the alphabet and numbers to
beginning reading and beginning addition and story problems skills.
I love their enthusiasm for learning.
