Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a chronic condition that affects an estimated 9% of school-aged children. Problems associated with ADHD include inattention and hyperactive, impulsive behavior. Children with ADHD may struggle with low self-esteem, troubled relationships and poor performance in school.

The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI has launched an interactive online resource center to support children and adults living with attention-deficit disorder (ADHD).
