September Philip Scheets
Philip is a senior at BHS and a second year student at the BACC.  He is enrolled in the Criminal Justice program and plans to continue his education at the University of Illinois or the University of Iowa and would like to become a Criminal Defense Attorney or an Accounting Finance major.    

Philip was nominated for the Junior of the Year award in Criminal Justice at the BACC Evening of Recognition last May.  He has also been in the National Honor Society for two years. 

Philip has been a volunteer at the Children's Service at Eastview Christian Church for two years and has also been on the BHS Golf Team for four years and the BHS Pep Club for two years.

October Jackie Gerig
Jackie is a senior at NCHS and a second year student in the BACC Cosmetology program.  Jackie plans on attending the University of North Texas where she hopes to play volleyball and major in Fashion Design.  Upon graduation she plans to become a cosmetologist.   

Jackie was nominated for Student of the Month in her Cosmetology program as well as placing 2nd in the Cosmetology competition at the SkillsUSA state competition.   She was also awarded the All American Award at the National Volleyball Program Tournament. 

Jackie has volunteered for the Autism Walk and also participated in mission trips to New York and the Dominican Republic.

November  Dylan Zimmerman 
Dylan is a senior at Fieldcrest high school and second year student in the BACC Culinary Arts program.  He is planning on attending Joliet Junior College and would like to eventually be a chef in his own restaurant.    

Dylan is on the Honor Roll at Fieldcrest High School and a member of the National Technical Honor Society.  He was also nominated for Student of the Year in his Culinary Arts program.   

Dylan has played soccer since he was in 1st grade.  He also has played Football junior and senior year as well as participating in Youth Group from 8th to senior year.

January Stephanie Aden
Stephanie Aden is a senior at Normal Community West and second year student in the BACC Automotive program.  She is planning on attending a community college with an emphasis on Automotive and Business.  

Stephanie has received multiple Student of the Quarter awards as well as Perfect Attendance for the 2nd Quarter.  At last years Evening of Recognition she was given the Auto Tech Workplace and Achievement & Leadership Awards.

Stephanie has participated in her high school Color Guard from 2006-2009.  She is also an active member of Illinois SkillsUSA.  In her spare time she volunteers at the Humane Society of Central Illinois.

February Samuel Redd
Samuel Redd is a senior at Bloomington High School and second year student in the BACC CAD/Civil Engineering program.  He plans on attending Iowa State next year to study Construction Engineering.  

Samuel is a member of the Technical Honor Society as well as the National Honor Society.  He has received the Big 12 Scholar Athlete Award as well as the IHSA Scholar Athlete Award.  He has also been chosen as Student of the Quarter in his program.

Samuel has participated in Cross Country 9th-12th, Tennis 9th-12th, Math Team 11th, and Student Council 12th.

March Kaley Necessary
Kaley Necessary is a senior at Normal Community High School and a second year student in the BACC Health Occupations program.  Kaley plans on attending Indiana Wesleyan University or Taylor University in Indiana and enter into Pre-Med. 

Kaley has been on the High Honor Roll at NCHS all four years of high school.  She has received the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) designation as well as qualified two years in a row for the SkillsUSA State Leadership Contest in Nurse Assisting. 

Kaley has been a volunteer for the Salvation Army, Special Olympics, Home Sweet Home Mission and many others.  She is very active with her family, school, church and community.

April Donald Shelbourn
Donald Shelbourn is a senior at Bloomington High School and a second year student in the BACC Construction Trades program.  He plans on enlisting in the Marines and studying Construction Engineering. 

Donald is a member of the Technical Honor Society and has been nominated as Student of the Quarter in his program. 

Donald has been a member of the BHS track team Freshman-Senior year.  He also Volunteers at the Salvations Army, plays drums for his church, and works the Toy for Tots Drive.
