**Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

What is FAFSA?

The FAFSA is a Free Application for Federal Student Aid, and lets the college determine what financial aid is available to you.

Do I have to complete the FAFSA?

FAFSA is the building block for all financial aid and MUST be completed. FAFSA results take time - the earlier you apply, the smoother the process will be.

When should I complete the FAFSA?

Your FAFSA form must be submitted by the date for the respective semester as listed below.

HELP!!!

Workshops are available for students, to help you fill out the FAFSA forms.

How can I apply for FAFSA?

You can apply for FAFSA online:

  1. Go to http://www.fafsa.ed.gov.
  2. Follow the instructions.
  3. Receive the results in two to three weeks.

How will I be notified of my results?

Your college or university will receive the results of your FAFSA. They will then send you an award letter, indicating the programs you qualify to receive. Results vary depending upon your financial status.
